Biography

Tanvi Banjan is a first-generation medical student from the prestigious Grant Medical College, Mumbai, India, one of the oldest medical institutions in Asia. She has consistently excelled in her first two years of medical school, scoring distinctions in all subjects. She is also actively involved in multiple international scientific research projects has two scientific articles published in renowned PubMed-indexed journals, and has been selected for international presentation. Being a first-generation medical student coming from a third-world country with limited resources at hand, she has never let her origin or gender stand in the way of her contributions to the field of medicine.
