Biography

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Miami pursuing a B.S. in both Biology and Biochemistry. My current research is focused on observing the development of neurodegenerative diseases (primarily Alzheimer’s disease) and resulting cognitive decline in mice. I perform neurosurgical procedures (survival surgery) on the mice to allow for observation. In addition, I conduct retrospective chart reviews for Mecklenburg Neurology Group and Mecklenburg Epilepsy and Sleep Center located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
