Sirajee Shafiqul Islam is Highly accomplished Interventional Neurologist with over 10 years of experience in performing complex endovascular interventions, including Intracranial/extracranial carotid stenting angioplasty , intracranial aneurysm coiling in addition balloon/ stent / Flow diverter assisted intracranial artery reconstruction by stent/ flow diverter, Onyx/NBCA use for intra cranial/spinal arteriovenous malformations (AVM, DAVF, CCF,) and at the top of, MMA embolization in Chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH) and presurgical Tumor embolization. Proven ability to utilize a wide range of imaging modalities, including CT angiography, MR angiography. Expertise in developing and implementing new techniques for embolization of complex intracranial lesions, resulting in reduced procedural times and improved patient outcomes. Strong academic background with peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
