I am a graduate student at MCPHS University pursuing a Master’s degree in Pharmacology t. My research focuses on neuropharmacology, cellular models of neurodegeneration, and natural product drug discovery. My current work focuses on investigating the neuroprotective potential of a novel plant-derived bioactive compound in differentiated SH-SY5Y neuronal cells as a model of diabetes associated neurodegeneration. Previously, I conducted research employing network pharmacology approaches to investigate the therapeutic potential of natural compounds in diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. Through these researches, I aim to contribute to the development of innovative therapies while enjoying travelling and painting in my free time.
