Biography
Dr. Sajag gupta is a distinguished neurosurgeon currently serving as Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at UPUMS, Saifai, Etawah (since October 2024), where he leads departmental strategy, academic development, and clinical excellence while actively engaging in research, mentoring, and advanced surgical practice. He has published over 15 articles in national and international journals and specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, skull base procedures, and craniovertebral junction surgeries, along with holding active roles in institutional committees and scientific societies. He has been associated with UPUMS as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery since August 2022 and has previously served as Associate Consultant at Fortis Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, and as Senior Resident at premier institutions including Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, LNJP Hospital (Delhi), and SN Medical College and FH Medical College, Agra. He completed his DrNB in Neurosurgery from MAX Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi (2018–2021), after earning an MS in General Surgery (2013–2016) and MBBS (2006–2011) from SMIMER under Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.
