Larisa Syrow MD was born in Ukraine and grew up in New York City. She went to SUNY Binghamton for undergraduate school and received a medical degree at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, New York. She completed her residency training in Neurology at Einstein Montefiore Medical center in Bronx, New York and fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology at Hahmemann Hospital in Philadelphia, as well as a board certification in Headache Medicine. She has been a staff neurologist at Cooper University Healthcare since 2012. She practices outpatient neurology, more recently specializing in telemedicine, as well as mentoring students and residents.
