Biography

Dr. Fariborz Mobarrez, an Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Sciences, Uppsala University, has been a dedicated researcher in the field of medical science for over 20 years. With a Ph.D. from Karolinska Institutet, his work focuses on extracellular vesicles (EVs) in cardiovascular research and rheumatology. Dr. Mobarrez's research has advanced the understanding EVs in systemic autoimmune diseases. More recently, he has broadened his research scope to include neurological diseases, investigating the role of EVs as potential biomarkers. His extensive experience and numerous publications reflect his commitment and contribution to medical research.
