Biography
Education Ava is a high school sophomore at Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology. She is focusing on neuroscience and biotechnology, furthering her knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, epilepsy, dementia. For the last 2 years, she has been participating in projects and research under Dr. Arun Antony at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, New Jersey. She plans to continue her path in neuroscience and in computer science after high school. Memberships Ava is a part of Science National Honor Society and Science Olympiad where she is given the opportunity to practice her lab and research skills as well as exposure to different science fields and mathematics. She has also had a few experiences volunteering at hospitals such as Herbetpur Christian Hospital, India, and North East Georgia Medical Center.
