Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology

Multiple sclerosis is one of the leading causes of non-traumatic neurological disability in young adults, and it often appears just as people are building careers and families. Currently, more than 20 disease-modifying therapies are available to treat multiple sclerosis. However, many patients still face slow, hidden progression that current medicines do little to stop.

This track covers multiple sclerosis alongside related conditions such as neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), MOG antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), and autoimmune encephalitis.

Sessions will cover the revised McDonald diagnostic criteria and blood markers such as NfL to monitor disease activity. It also explores novel approaches to treat MS, including BTK Inhibitors, CAR-T cell therapy, and other strategies to repair myelin and slow progression.

Neurologists, neuroimmunologists, MS nurses, radiologists, and researchers are invited to share work that helps people with MS and related conditions live well for longer.

Topics include:

  • Diagnosis and the revised McDonald criteria
  • Early high-efficacy treatment strategies
  • Progressive MS and smoldering disease
  • NMOSD and MOGAD
  • Autoimmune encephalitis
  • Blood biomarkers and MRI monitoring
  • BTK inhibitors and CAR-T cell therapy
  • Remyelination and repair

Help us move MS care from controlling relapses to stopping progression.
